Red Wings
Red Wings star Pavel Datsyuk is expected to miss two weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery yesterday. The Wings missed their leading scorer last night, losing to the Blackhawks 2-1. Backup goalie Ty Conklin cleared waivers and will get some playing time with the Grand Rapids Griffons. The Red wings acquired defenseman Kyle Quincey in a 3-team deal with Tampa Bay and Colorado. The Wings give up a first round pick and minor league defenseman Sebastien Piche. The Wings host the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow night at Joe Louis Arena.
U of M Wins!
No. 11 Michigan sank 14 three-pointers last night to beat Northwestern 67-55 in overtime.
Trey Burke scored 19 points. The Wolverines have won 4 straight.
MSU Basketball
The MSU Spartans visit Minnesota tonight. Michigan State has won five straight games to move into sole possession of first place in the Big Ten. Broadcast time is 7:30 tonight on WBCK-FM.

Pistons
The Pistons blew a 17 point lead and lost to the Cavaliers in Cleveland 101-100.
Brandon Knight had a team-high 24 points for the Pistons. The Pistons are in Toronto tonight to take on the Raptors in their last game before the All-Star break.
